@judytrue it is always a mess. Dirt filling is helpful BUT always washes away.

An option to help alleviate this problem is to have your neighbors join into a Special Assessment District (S.A.D.) to have the alley paved by the City. If a majority of residents in a specific area agree to join, a S.A.D. will be created and funded by the residents affected by the improvements, in this case a paved alley. So @csr3 because the city of st Pete and FDOT will not allow us to park in the front you think the best option is to make the homeowners PAY to improve the alley that is also used by CITY trucks? Over the years how much has this cost to keep filling and reblading? Why not take that future cost of more filling/blading etc and put it into a ONE TIME cost of paving the alleyway. This would be more cost effective for the city and save you money over time.
