I’ve reported this property several times. The city continues to turn a blind eye. No one really cares about the condition of the home. The police have been there several times and yet still no DCF visit? None of the kids wear shoes. The youngest baby is often running around barefoot with an overflowing diaper. All of the mattresses are to fill in holes in the floor. It’s so shocking that this has gone on since the 60’s and yet no action has been taken. Shame on the city, police and everyone else who is aware of the deplorable, filthy conditions and continue to do NOTHING!

Noisy,are you and adjacent house? The ONLY way codes will do anything, is if they can access property next door and view the mess in back otherwise they can only note what they can see from the street.

Fortunately I’m on a different street. I actually posted on here a picture of the backyard and the generator they use to power up the house. What did the city fire back with? My photo was illegal 😔. So they removed my post. It’s my understanding that the neighbors to the right and left can take pictures but no one else. I feel like that’s unfair. I think it’s asking a lot to do that because of the repercussions they might face? As you are aware they beat up our neighbor with a broken leg. So I understand fear of retaliation! Maybe weekly posts on the conditions of the house will finally get to right people at the Code Compliance department?? Fingers crossed!

They FINALLY have a codes hearing...Agenda Item #152 this month! Someone really needs to call DCF on these people...and take pictures!!! The State MUST followup on calls regarding child abuse and neglect through the state 800 number 1-800-962-2873. You can also file a report online at https://reportabuse.dcf.state.fl.us/. All reports of child abuse are forwarded to the Child Protection Investigation unit of the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. It may be pertinent to contact the Sheriff's office as well. The direct number for the CPI Department is 727-582-3800. You should be able to remain anonymous.

Pursuant to the Code Enforcement board, this address has to be in compliance of all violations by 6/8/19. Failure to comply will result in a $50 per day fine. I am aware that the owner was given information on assistance to clean up the residence, but it appears that she hasn't followed through.

whenever I ride my bike or walk past this home, there are always children playing in the street, babies wiht full diapers being held by small chilrden and screaming coming from inside the house. Old, filthy, wet, couches set up outside next to a basketball hoop. Apparently its ok for toddlers to run around in the street to play. It's such a SAD situation for those kids. I hope the hearing went well. DCF & SPP, protect the children!
