A consistant pond just like this located at 2301 Dryden prompted the owner of that home to spearhead a drive to get the entire street replaced. (as the only way to fix it) The process took 10 years and the owner had moved away by the time the street was replaced 3 years ago. Another owner on Swift told me he's pressing forward with a similar 10-yr plan.

I'm hopeful (but not deluded) that this new system might speed the process. If we have to go that route we will and don't think I won't use whatever relationships I and other have in the city coy sol and state legislature. Thanks for the historical framework.

What new system you mention? As far as we (morning side civic assoc) know, it's the same old impossible system. Maybe the revenue from the new drainage fee..?
