I submitted a ticket in September of last year (ID: 4961138) regarding a large tree that was damaged behind our home during a storm. At the time I believed that the tree was on city/county property. A representative of the county surveyed the property and confirmed it was not my property and also not county property. I was given the name of the listed property owner. I contacted the property owner and was told a member of Property Maintenance Division would be contacting them as well. I have not heard back from the listed owner and the tree damaged has worsened with a large portion of the tree hanging in my neighbor's backyard. Can you confirm if the property owner was contacted by the Property Maintenance Division and if so if there was any indication that they would remove it? Thank you!

The portion of land the caller mentions is shown on their 1974 survey plat as a “20’ Buffer”. The Tax Commissioner’s web site currently lists the ownership of this strip as:
LIBERTY PROPERTIES INC
% BB & T ATTN: BILL KILBURG
201 SECOND ST
MACON, GA 31201
It is certain that it is not on any Macon-Bibb property or easement.

That is the same information I had on the previous ticket I submitted (ID: 4961138).
I was told that someone from the Property Maintenance Division would be contacting Liberty Properties and then the ticket was closed. The tree remains damaged and my attempts to contact Liberty Properties has not worked. I submitted a second ticket to confirm that Property Maintenance Division had contacted them and if there was anything further that could be done.
