Description

An abandoned residence. Yard has trash and garbage. I have personally seen rats in the area. This house is in a residential area. The house next door to it has also being used as a dumping ground. I reported properties to East Point Code Enforcement and the rep said that East Point did not have the money to clean up properties. These properties are a health hazzard. Every time I visit the garbage and debris has gotten worst. Now it is in the street

Still a mess. Some trash was picked up by City of East Point but reps say they can only clean up 6ft from the street-yet there is no owner to this abandoned house for 10 years. My next move will be to the Health department and the Feds

Called east Point again/ Got a call from Code Enforcement officials. They say they will send a collection team out there. Will check today. Since the first reporting in 2010, this area is still being used as a dump in 2012 yet East Point will notdo anything about property to seal it off. This area is a health hazzard and east Point officials are aware of this fact.

Some cleanup done but the situation does not stop. I suspect contractors use that area as a dumping ground. Surveillance needs to be done and fines need to be charged for these dumpers.

Cleanup done but still needs more work. Dilapidated houses need to come down,. Informed Margaret Dewberry- East point Code Enforcement. Complete cleanup needs to be done.

East Point and Duke Realty are now cleaning this site. Also some development is going on in this area. Tractors are seen and pathways of trees have been cleared. Still a lot more to do.

Sonbody left the Campbell Street gate open-as a result some low decide that they would dump additional old tires in this same area where Duke Realty cleaned. reported open gate to East Point. gatesis now closed .
