It seems that with all the heavy construction equipment using the Decatur streets that binefit invertors and city tax revenue. We the home owners are left with HIGH TAXES, BROKEN ROADS and SIDEWALKS.
WE DESERVE BETTER !!!!
Does anyone know how we go about getting our roads resurfaced ? Who do we contact?
Still nothing has been addressed on Adair St. It is a little more than 3 Tenths of a mile long and it's condition is probably one of the worst in the city.
Can anyone explain why our streets and sidewalks issues continue to go unaddressed by the city and or county?
I would love to see a reply, other the it has been reported to S. Smith.
How about stop just reporting it to S. Smith and take some ACTION, Stop patching/ putting Band-Aids on issues and properly address them.
With the cost of our property taxes (and going up each year) you would think this would be taken care of sooner. All of Adair and Emerson need to be repaved. Maybe we should have requested bike lanes on our streets.
I understand the city is about to raise school taxes even higher this coming year. It seems they are more interested tax revenue and nothing about the deplorable conditions we residents have to put up with on a day to day bases.
They have recently repaved Northen Ave near the post office, after expensive condo were built. It was in much better condition than Adair and Emerson. You should drive by Westchester off of Scott.
That road had very little issues compared to Adair and Emerson and yet it received a major repaving.
It was brobaly for directing Right turns only coming onto Scott BLVD.
But come on. A major repaving for that.
