One of our zone officers checked the area, multiple times, and finally located the dirt bike being operated in the roadway. He stopped the dirt bike and identified the juvenile operating it as well as his mother who was nearby. The officer explained that there have been multiple complaints regarding unlawful dirt bikes and mini bikes being operated in the neighborhood. He explained to the parent and child that the vehicle cannot be legally operated on the public streets. Other general safety issues were discussed as well.

The parent and child indicated they understood and would ensure the dirt bike was not ridden in the street any longer. The officer indicated he would continue to monitor the area for compliance.
