Crews completed this work on Friday, June 7th.

This job is not complete. Crews came out Friday and dug a hole in the backyard, saw that the "band" around the drain has snapped and said they would have to bring out a backho tractor and dig an even bigger hole to replace the section of damaged pipe. Please come back out and complete this

The storm drains are functioning appropriately and all blockages have been removed. The remaining minor pipe work and recovering of the whole will be accomplished as soon as weather allows.

Im not sure if the patch that crews came out and worked on actually worked. Things see worse now as you can see in the picture taken during our most recent storm 6/17 compaired to the one taken on 6/10 the blockage seems to be worse. Crews poured a concrete patch over the existing pipe possibly making the blockage permanent. There is a drain between the two houses that shoots water like a guyser, obviously not draining properly. I think we need an official to come out and perform a more extensive inspection. I appreciate your prompt attention to this issue as soon as weather permits.

There are also new holes along the pipeline that were formed by the water shooting up at the joints of the pipe. These are a danger to anyone walking, doing yard work or children playing. The grate cover was lifted out of it's base and needs to be put back in place. It is very heavy, but debris also needs to be removed from beneath the grate as well.

Let's hope none of the neighborhood children or animals get caught in that current! Sure hope this gets addressed!

Our Director of Engineering / Public Works has been notified and is investigating the situation.

Thank You City Of Alpharetta for your prompt attention. Looks like crews came out and made some more repairs/clean outs. I was told that the problem could have been caused by an extinsive root system. We will see what happens during the next storm we have
