At this time we do not have any update other than Huntsville Engineering Department is currently looking into this matter. As soon as we get more information we will update again! Thank you for your patience as several City departments are involved in this situation.

My autistic child fell in this area the other day to the safety issue. I really would appreciate a speedy fix, im afraid to walk with my children.

This area is now even more dangerous. This area is now eroding. The sidewalk will become damaged if this area is not fixed.

The area is still eroding. Not sure if the city or the builder is responsible.

A handrail has been placed. We will send an inspector out to remove the plywood. The Public Works department will backfill the sidewalk as soon as possible.

The area that was eroded under the sidewalk was not fixed. The sidewalk will crack eventually with nothing underneath it to hold it in place.
