The Cambridge Police Department prioritizes targeted traffic enforcement in the areas of the highest incidence of crashes in the City. Proactive enforcement is conducted on a regular basis in particular areas and times based on extensive crash analysis conducted by the City, which includes reviews of crash reports and incidents involving transports to a hospital, complaints and concerns from residents, and data provided by the public through the City’s SeeClickFix application, among other means.
