This ditch used to be maintained by the county as Orange Blossom Drive drains into it. Several years back, I tried to get the county to come out with no luck.

It's still supposed to be maintained by the County as it's the County's drainage system. This also is the drainage that connects to the Pinellas Trail.

We still have not heard from the county on this situation. We are coming up on the rainy season and this issue will only get worse.

The sewer drain is connected to the ditch which is on the counties easement. This is county easement property which is supposed to be maintained by the county. The Seminole youth athletic association is not responsible to maintain the ditch and sewer drainage that is on county easement.

The sewer drain located there should never have been put in then if the ditch that was attched to it was not going to be maintained by the county that put in the sewer drainage.

In the past, the county maintained the ditch. I believe my contact person at the county was Ann Park, but not sure. I would email the request when it needed attention. I just searched for her emails, but I don't go back that far. I will keep searching though.

Your issue has been reopened. We ensure you that the Public Works Department will still investigate the issue and research maintenance jurisdiction.

Thank you. Fyiv- The last crew that came out last week dug a little bit around the opening of the drain then sat in the truck for a few hours.

There is also a fire hydrant that is continuously park around. It needs to be marked with some type signage. Thank you
