It's clear most of the streets in our neighborhood, speficially the Borland/Bennett intersection haven't been maintained well or serviced in some time....cracks and crevices, bumps and humps are everywhere. We've joked it's like driving through a war zone. Pavement is so depleted and uneven the curbs stick out in hideous fashion. What more would you like to know?

Sounds like it's time to lean on the city. We have people that can do that.

Right in front of my nieghbor's is the BIGGEST frost heave ever. It even caught a police cruiser unaware last weekend and the car went flying. I yelled "slow down" but it was too late. It really is unsafe.

We live on Borland and the frost heave slows down speeders. Remember that when they fix it we get assessed to pay for it. Be careful what you wish for.

I've certainly thought of that and genuinely appreciate your opinion. But can I "assess" the Muni when our vehicles need the suspension systems replaced? The street maintenance around here is embarrassing. I just can't get past how ignored the streets have been - that's all. It's painful to look at each and every day.
