Thank you for submitting your tree concern to the Howard County Department of Public Works. Our staff will investigate this issue and respond.

Our records show this location was last trimmed in 2013 by county contractors. The tree was looked at today and it does have a small amount of deadwood at this time. Trimming schedules are every 10-12 years as of now. In the meantime, please contact our department next spring after the tree blooms out and someone will be out to inspect the tree to see if it has declined. If you rather not wait, residents do have the option of obtaining a trimming permit through Department of Natural Resources website. All tree work must be completed by a licensed tree expert.
