Ed - are you saying that in order to remove a DEAD tree, which makes the area look terrible, the owner needs to request a new tree and pay the city more money?

Not at all. Sorry for the misunderstanding. The dead tree can be removed no problem. We just have inspect and schedule it. Please be patient as our forestry is managing thousands of trees across the city. An application can be filed through the city for a new tree planting. Also, I could add the address to the upcoming planting list; however, you will not be able to select the species of tree unless you apply for a new tree yourself. Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Forestry crew removed dead tree on 7/16/19. Stump removal scheduled for 7/25/19. Address added to 2019 fall tree planting list.
