Thanks for scarifying 1/5 of Ethan Allen Parkway. It’s the main artery into our neighborhood. It gave us hope that the road would soon begin its repair phase. Instead, it has been like this for weeks, and some of the potholes are now worse than before, and we are smashing our vehicles even more. Same with the section of James Avenue. Yellow signs go up for no parking, we get a thunderstorm, they blow off and end up a soggy mess littered along the curb. No progress is seen on the days outlined anyway.
What is the delay here, and when will we have to deal with the rest of EAP getting repaired? Once school starts? The whole road is a mess ever since the water main replacements over the last two summers.
Residents of this neighborhood are not very happy.
