We hate to hear of your frustration, Tim. Hollington Drive is already on the resurfacing list for this year. Public Works would be happy to speak with you if you have any additional questions. Repaving is a major construction project that has a lengthy process to determine which streets will be resurfaced. Thanks for your response. I understand SCF is for service issues and think the app is a great tool to give residents an easy and quick path to report problems.
I exhausted the avenue of the City Councilwoman for my district along with meeting Chris McNeese to address the condition on Hollington Dr. I was told earlier this year Hollington was close to making the list. If Hollington was close i wanted to see roads that were scheduled to be resurfaced this year. It only took visiting Castlegate off Monte Sano and Bluefield off California St. to know there was a major problem with the evaluation process. I brought this to the attention of Councilwoman Akridge and suggested the city look into using a devive or software that takes out the human factor and favoritism aspect of grading roads.I have pictures and video of both Hollington and Bluefield, before it was repaved.
