It’s dangerous trying to leave Hobbstone Cir and turn onto Hobbs Rd. It’s a blind curve.

I agree and request HPD To perform radar speed patrols in our neighborhood. Shameless speeding is constant in English Village

There's also no crosswalk on hobbs RD. There is already in increase in pedestrian traffic with construction of the haysland road extension and should only get heavier. Please install a crosswalk at least as good as the one on four mile post at the jones valley park.

It would be much appreciated if the City of Huntsville Police Dept. would run radar in the morning as speeders are coming down Hobbs Rd. towards RSA and then in the afternoon and evening when Grissom High School and RSA speeders are coming back. A perfect place for officers to sit is at the HSV Utilities gate on Hobbs Rd. See added photo.

Hobbs road between Redstone Road and the Parkway has turned into complete madness with speeding, excessively loud mufflers (or no mufflers) along with TRUCKING. Since the development of Hays Farm Hobbs road is used as a trucking route. Some trucks are estimated at
60 mph. I don’t think this portion of Hobbs Road was designed for a commercial heavy truck route, and as a result will be a nuisance for the homes along the road, not to mention the premature wear on the road surface. Trucking should be confined to use of memorial parkway, instead of residential neighborhoods.

HPD should police this roadway for speeding, noise, and commercial trucking.

Someone (pedestrians and motorists) will be killed or injured badly if this continues.

Come on Huntsville city and HPD… take care of your residents before commercial interests.

We definitely need more police presence on Hobbs Road near gate 3 area. To many cars racing and doing doughnuts in or near the park in the evenings on top of the regular spending going to and from the Arsenal daily.

The current speed limit is what will remain. This one is being closed.

The speed limit used to be 35 mph as this are is designated as R1, not commercial.

The posted speed limit is entirely unsafe for residential traffic, unless this are has been designated as commercial. Is this area designated for commercial trucking?

Per the Traffic Engineering Director, this is a speed limit enforcement issue, which is handled by the Huntsville Police Department. Thank you for your understanding.
