08/20/2019 - Visited the property today. The upstairs apartment is vacant and locked. The tenant downstairs allowed access. Numerous flies present. Dog & cat present. Observed roaches. Downstairs Tenant is treating w/ gel bait. Tenant also confirmed that both units have roaches and bed bugs. Also observed numerous bags of trash and some tires on back side of property under exterior stairway. Orders need to be issued to the property owner regarding such, w/ the exception of the bed bug matter to which Health has no regulations. /// RLM

08/21/2019 - Issued written order to property owner. /// RLM

9/9 - Received IPM plan. /// GED
9/10 - Confirmed inspection at 4pm on 9/16. /// GED
9/16 - Met owner and tenant at property. The trash is at the curb for tomorrow pickup. Owner has trimmed and cleaned exterior. New trash cans with lids are at property. We discussed exterior treatments. Observed some adults but mainly roaches in the nymph stages. They have 2 types of bait. They will be doing crack and crevice spraying as well. Food storage and cleaning is not that bad. Discussed further treatments and continued cleaning and work on tenants part. Re in about 2 weeks. /// GED

10/15 - Observed no public health nuisances on exterior at this time. Inspected interior. Tenants stated that 2nd floor unit is still vacant and owner has still been treating. Observed less roaches. There were more nymphs than adults. Observed some open food attracting roaches. Discussed food storage and cleaning to facilitate pest control. /// GED

11/6 - Visited property and inspected. Observed more roaches than on last inspection. Tenant said they ran out of pesticide weeks ago and owner has not brought them more. /// GED
11/7 - Emailed owner. /// GED

11/27 - Observed lots of roaches. The tenant stated that they have no money for pesticide and the owner has not brought them anything in months. /// GED

12/10 - No answer at door. /// GED

12/11 - Spoke with tenants. They stated owner brought several gallons of spray. The have not used any yet but planned to treat this week. /// GED

1/22 - Inspected unit and spoke with tenants. There are less adults but a new population of small nymphs. Discussed cleaning and treating. They have a sufficient supply of pesticide from owner. Needs follow up inspection. /// GED
