I know there has been some street construction at the intersection of Crawford @ Elgin for a couple of weeks now. I know they have obstructed the irrigation lines and we also had some irrigation work down on the two medians along Elgin St. Thanks,

Does that mean you will just let the plants die?

Always excuses. Nothing ever gets done. It's easier to waste taxpayer money, distract and ignore, and do nothing. The fact that all the medians in Midtown have been neglected is proof enough. Even the oak trees in Baldwin Park are looking distressed because of this heat. Why doesn't the city use water trucks to hydrate the the trees and water the plants. Shameful.

Exactly right. MMD only focuses on business interests, they could care less about residents or park amenities. May be time to unseat some of the dead wood in MMD too.

I just went out there with our irrigation crew and found that one of the small irrigation timers was defective and not working. However we manually turned on the irrigation and watered both sides of the median for 30 min each. We will @#$% and correct tomorrow. Thanks again.
