Maybe the name should be changed to criminals/druggies and prostitutes Haven instead of a park? EVERYDAY these people hang out here doing whatever they want, from sexual acts to drinking and shooting up and what does the Tukwila PD do to prevent this activity? nothing. They're as much of a problem as these people are, and let's not call them homeless because that's not what they are. They're criminals who wander around here stealing and breaking into vehicles/apartments, when the police is called they don't show up!!?!? because they simply won't do anything, seen it with my own eyes. Waste of tax payer money if you ask me. If you're not going to fight crime and protect your community then find a different profession. I have tons of friends living around this park and they're all going through this same issue day in and day out and have zero respect and confidence for the Tukwila police department in the way they're handling this issue. When does it stop? When is there going to be a police presence here to let these criminals know they can't hang out here until 3-4-5am in the morning drinking fighting and yelling. I believe if it was any of us tax paying citizens they would show up real fast and hand cuffs us and issue tickets and arrests. I bet we wouldn't be able to sit at the park or bus stop 24hrs a day drinking and shooting up being a nuisance to the community and people who live here. Thank you Tukwila police department for NOT being there for this community, you're greatly appreciated. Maybe wait for a hard working citizen to go to work on Monday morning and issue him a ticket for speeding 6mph because he/she is late to work because he/she hasn't slept the night before thanks to your drug addict criminal friends who roam around freely all night yelling on top of their lungs at bus stops and the park. PS. and no I haven't been issued a speeding ticket so that's not the reason for this post simply giving an example.
