Why are you closing this issue? It hasn't been properly dealt with! People are still using these facilities at the bus stops to urinate on and a place to defecate. Also there is a number of hyperdermic needles around both bus stops and they don't belong to people with diabetes. I have witnessed people at these bus stops shooting up and it wasn't insulin. Why can't you bring the Federal Police in on this and round up these stragglers and force them into a drug rehab program. Forget about their rights, what about the innocent bystanders, especially children.

Why does the city cottle these people and let them break the law? Where do you think young people get some of their drugs? Why is the city blinding themselves to the truth. Haven't you looked the other way long enough? Instead of being a bunch of useless good samaritans(includes Sound Mental Health), legal action should be taken and resolve this bunch of homeless trash.

Whether or not you believe it, this drug activity is still going on. There is also panhandling taking place at the entrance to Saar's Supersavers Store on 144th and 37th Avenue South. Why doesn't the store manager ask these people to leave the premises? There are also some outside the front doors to the store.

People still hanging around the front doors to Saars Grocery and at the entrance to the parking lot on South 144th. Where is the store manager, Pat Senn, and why isn't he discouraging this activity?

We have seen drug users at both bus stops too. This happens daily and they dump their food garbage too.

There is also vomitting and urination by them also. They're making this neighborhood very unsafe and especially unhealthy to live in. Has the City Council and Police Department ever considered the safety of the children in the neighborhood. Consider their age and how vulnerable they are to such things.

Your request regarding parks has been closed. We are well aware of the challenges surrounding the area of Cascade View Park and the adjacent Saars. We are actively working with Saars management, King County Metro, and Tukwila Parks and rec. Proactive patrols on foot are occurring nearly daily and surveillance cameras have been recently installed in Cascade View Park.
