Thank you for submitting your tree concern to the Howard County Department of Public Works. Our staff will investigate this issue and respond.

Areas will be trimmed per schedule. An exact date can not be given at this time. I think the last time this location was trimmed by county crews was around 4-5 years ago. Due to backlog trim areas are scheduled for an average of every 10 years. If a resident wishes to not wait and wants to hire someone to do the trimming they must contact Department of Natural Resources to obtain a trimmIng permit. All work shall be completed by a licensed tree expert. Any limbs hanging over onto private property can be trimmed by the resident at any time if they choose to do so.
