The Traffic light WALK light does not work at this location crossing from Broadway near truck parts place at 469 Broadway (near Ridge Hill Ave) to the Strata Apartments driveway at 500 Broadway.
The CROSSWALK is also all worn out and barely visible.
This is a busy intersection and the bus stops here. Many school children also use this crosswalk on their way to Linden, Charter, and Salemwood schools.

This and issue ID 6195913 - the leaning utility pole with wires exposed at low level- that still has not been fixed since winter at the corner of Broadway and Central Avenue

These two problems are mere blocks away from each other and is representative of the kind of blight Ward 8 and other parts of the city have suffered in favor of building apartment complexes, bike path, useless street sweeping of pot-holed streets, and other pet projects that the city has focused on in the past many years.

This is the kind of NEGLECT Ward 8 has had for years! No paving projects, neglected properties, dumping of undesirables at hotels, etc. There is an important election on November 5 where you can send a message that you want change!
