Description
Going northbound during morning rush and southbound during evening rush this intersection always bogs down terribly. I have to wait through 2-3 cycles of the light to get through, unlike the light for 10400 S, which is a much larger intersection. As the number of cars on Bangerter is approximately the same, I don’t understand why this is the case. The only difference could be the timing cycle of the light. I would vote for shutting down that intersection other than for right turns on or off the highway.

Thanks for reaching out to us. We are aware of this issue but are unable to resolve it from a signal timing perspective. We encourage you to visit https://travelwise.utah.gov/ for ways to rethink your trip.
Please note the following:
- Signals can be likened to a funnel through which water (cars) is poured. It does not matter how much water you pour in the big end of the funnel, how much is able to go through is limited by the small end.
