Q. If a parking issue, what is the problem?
A. home owners of 335 7th st block spot in front of their house with cones, garbage cans, kids wheeled toys, lamps... just about anything so that they block the spot. I'm trying to cover all the bases here because City reps (both parking and any other enforcement) are passing the buck here.
Get off your ------- and do you job. Someone is blocking the spot and bulkying the neighborhood. DO SOMETHING! !!!

Whomever is reading this that manages this system (seeclickfix) the problem is the resident is unlawfully depriving others of a public parking *street parking* soor for personal use ..no one woukd mind if they out a vehicle there...they are putting random items *that may be for sale?* on the street itself thus taking a viabke valid available parking spot from the neighborhood...are they REALLY ALLOWED TO DO THIS ??? i doubt it...why isn't the homeowner being told BY THE JC AUTHORITY that this is NOT ALLOWED?!
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Thank you! What’s the best way to get in touch with them?
I waked by and overheard her telling parking enforcement that her husband has a cane (which is true). Parking told her she needs to register that spot as handicap which can take up to six months. If she can go through proper channels and accomplish what needs to be done, I’ll be satisfied but in the meantime she’s got to play by the rules.

Download the app on your phone...WOTS. It stands for Word on the street. They reply INSTANTLY to parking issues, loud msic and noise at night, suslected criminal activity (like when we see drug users shooting up in the stairwell of the temple beth el on JFK smf Harrison ave etc.
They are really fast! Seeclickfix is more about illegal construction, downed tree limbs, wires, dead street lights, uncollected recycling, rogue trash dumping on the sidewalks, flatscreen tvs on the street, unmowed empty lots with rodents and homeless squatting a vacant house etc...

The other benefit to using the WOTS application is that after 5:00 p.m. and on weekends I don't know how much activity you can really expect from the city when you report something here on see click fix.. I find the WOTS is 24/7/365
The team at see click fix does a great job but primarily on things like downed tree limbs flooded sewage drainage pipes uncollected recycling etc....
