Most of the highway lights are out and have been out for about 10 years on the Pontchartrain Expressway between South Broad St. and South Claiborne Ave. Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development was notified but they say the City of New Orleans is responsible for lighting repairs. The City of New Orleans was notified but they say the LDOTD is responsible. So neither will take responsibility and fix the problem and the highway lights have been out for 10 years!
What does it take to get some action on this deplorable situation?
