Blocking a signalized intersection is illegal statewide and can be enforced without the presence of a sign or markings. A driver may not enter an intersection without having space to completely clear it. We will share your concern with Cambridge Police.

Unfortunately, it happens at every peak hour and the horns start blowing. I even witnessed a pedestrian almost get stuck when a car was trying to maneuver around a car blocking the intersection.

At an intersection such as this one where there are a lot of pedestrians, drivers need to be reminded and warned not to block, thus, a sign is needed. I cannot see sharing a concern with the police department helping very much unless they assign an officer at every peak time. A simple sign a this type of intersection should definitely be a constant reminder and deterrent. Thanks.
