Description

We live next to the new condo development being built on Maple south of the library. This afternoon I watched as a large truck with a trailer came to the development to drop off a large piece of equipment. Because the road is so tight he was unable to make the turn to drop off this equipment. He appears currently to be contacting someone about what he should do. My concern is has there been any confirmation that an ambulance or fire truck can make the turn to address any emergency issues once these places are built. I am concerned about the integrity of my own property. Maybe a fire truck should visit the site to see if they can make the appropriate turns. It saddens me that this development is going to have people shoved into a small place between already established areas of housing. It doesn’t seem safe nor appropriate to me. Also, I am sure you have already received many complaints about the sidewalk they torn out from the front of our development and the lack of maintaining it (weeds, etc). It truly is a hazard trying to pull out of our development as we are unable to see the traffic coming south on Maple. It seems that the contractor should be required to maintain that area. We pay a huge amount of money in taxes to live in this area. I feel that my concerns should be addressed.
