No- the issue is current. Cars are still parked throughout the day every day on bike lane with little to no enforcement of rules. When reporting the issue through Wots app, no action being taken. Several residents have reported this. Above is just an example.
Attached image from recent is the crux of the issue. Jersey City police car recently parked on bike lane, completely blocking the lane, for 15 minutes for a coffee break as I watched. There seems to be no interest in enforcing the bike lane rules.
The bike lanes need to be protected like the excellent implementation done on Montgomery Street between Greene St and Marin Blvd.

Hi Christina. The proper way to address this is to install White delineators protecting the bike lanes so that cars are unable to park on the bike lane, just like has been done on the North bound Washington St. Otherwise, residents will keep reporting the issue.
On another thread (https://seeclickfix.com/issues/6520929), it was stated that the White delineators would be installed shortly after Labor Day at this address. Yet, no delineators are installed yet. No action being taken when reporting the issue through Wots app.
Bicyclists are riding in fear on this street and this is a very bad accident just waiting to happen.

This is still an ongoing problem due to lack of physical barriers separating bike lanes from vehicle travel lanes. WOTS reports are not being actioned because JCPD is treating this as a waste of their time and closing cases without any investigation. There are multiple requests for this same issue.

The last update on August 22nd was that barriers would be installed "after Labor Day". It has been 19 business days and almost a calendar month since Labor Day. When will the city install these barriers?

Last night (09/27/2019 around 7:30pm) when i passed this area on my way home, I saw the police came for a car vs bike collision accident.
I hope the government can put more attention to this.
