Street lights needed on Bridgewood Valley - unusually dark street. I am a new resident to sandy springs from Dunwoody where they have replaced most neighborhood lights with LED. Bridgewood Valley is very dark. I noticed only 2 lights on the whole length of the street. Not sure if some are totally out or if there need to be more lights on poles but I was surprised to see such an affluent neighborhood with VERY little street lights. Please look into this for the safety of residents and a lot of kids playing at dusk

The Mountaire Springs Neighborhood Association and its residents have been working hard for several months to get signatures on the City provided petition to have lights installed on Bridgewood Valley Rd and several other adjacent streets.
It is a door to door activity and we are more than 1/2 way there.
The City policy and process that any neighborhood in Sandy Springs can undertake provides the petition listing who needs to sign based on where the lights will go.
