Yes, I always do. Hence, it's still an ongoing issue because the police rarely patrol this area. Taxes are too high in this town to have to deal with reckless and irresponsible behaviour. Thanks for nothing EPD. Centainly not the first time.

Sydney I sympathise with you, I do. However I've been living in Thompsonville for 10+ years. At the end of the day, the legal aspect of dealing with crime is much more complex. I have seen a number of issues occur, and let me tell you, they are much more important than whatever nonsense is going on out in your neighborhood. HOWEVER, I am not saying your problems out there are not an issue. Unless you are going to stop these people, drag them down, and take the liability of injury upon yourself, the most you can do is report, report, report. If the town feels it is valid, they will setup speed traps and other methods of capturing these idiots. Over here in Thompsonville, we have a lot going on. And we are out in the streets trying to bringing it down, but we are not in a position to stop people, hold them accountable, and also protect ourselves if we catch one and hold them hostage. HOWEVER, this is America, and believe it or not, you can't just gun down a person because you have an issue with them. Trust the process, be patient, things will happen as they need to happen. You are perfectly free to go all guns and balls out and deal with it yourself, but when you decide to take the law upon yourself and don't find any friends defending you in criminal court, remember that. This is Enfield Connecticut. This is not Florida where you can just shoot people and get away with it.

Yup, it's all about T'Ville. Well, there are other areas of Enfield. T'Ville has several EPD roaming around, Dist. 3 has 1, maybe. While dealing with crime may be "complex", we have people making a whole lot of money who have accepted the task and by that acceptance claim they can address these "complex" issues. Just how "complex" are simple patrols these days? Waiting for something to happen just doesn't work. Calling when something happens is ridiculous especially if it is moving. The target is gone by the time anyone arrives. The East end of town has, for years, been labeled the "red headed @#$% stepchild" and it shows. Believe it or not we pay the same taxes everyone else pays and deserve the same attention as T'Ville. Personally, I don't care for FL but, being able to "stand your ground" is not all that bad. In CT, it seems, it is better to be the victim. Only then does EPD respond. Respond is the operative word as pro-active doesn't seem to enter the conversation.
