I couldn't agree more. There's no sense of urgency to get that lane paved. It's been that way for well over a month now. Extremely frustrating.

Would be great if once started a road project was completed before jumping to start another just to leave that incomplete. The area is surrounded by partially completed projects that have a devastating impact on traffic.

Thank you for your request. The lane you are referring to is actually Caltrans’ right-of-way. The Contractor responsible for the widening of El Cerrito/Foothill at this location needs to finish utility relocation, pave that lane and complete striping changes before that lane can be opened.
