There is plenty of trash on the City's property at the curb. Additionally, there must be some kind of code violation with all the trash on the porch.

So sadly typical ... The way I understand SeeClickFix is that when this was reported, it was not sent to the "Bulk and Brush Division." That was a decision made on 8/11 by @RVACustomerCampaigner. If the city sends a request to the wrong department, it only makes sense that the city will then reroute it to the right department ... instead of closing it. It just means more work and frustration for everyone to keep reopening these tickets.

There is trash along the sidewalk that is on city property. It needs to be picked up. It isn't on private property.

So if it needs to be reported to Code Enforcement, please report it as such.

RVA's citizens are doing theri part in reporting issues; the city needs to do its part and act on these issues instead of summarily closing them and saying, "Not my department." We as public users of SCF do not have the ability to reroute issues; the city's reps need to take the initiative and do that.

So, are you saying that there are no code issues here? That was what I thought was going to happen: this would be sent to Code Enforcement versus being sent to someone to pick up brush. ???

So if it is a "Code Enforcement issue" why is it closed and not sent to that Division???
