strongly disagree. i go for a run 4 times a week nearby and often through this intersection and have never had an issue. also never had issues turning from canyon rim to hillside. there can't be a stop sign or light at every intersection on the planet...at some point people need to learn to drive.

I could not agree with you more ( crackers8199 ). The fact remains that folks just
"don't" look out for traffic as they cross streets which we all know and hopefully been taught. I cannot tell you how many times we ALL have seen someone just walk in front of your vehicle. The root of the issue is: We all know the right-of-way for pedestrians. Since this law... we have to ADD more rules & regulations to protect ourselves from injury. Please refer to issue # 2624562 I posted. This regarded a very busy intersection adjacent to a school crossing. I have witnessed on various "accidents" here. One of which a very lucky young girl (in a crosswalk) was hit and thrown. Another where a parked car was hit so hard it was thrown through the air two houses down into my neighbor's driveway.
So yes... we need better control devices to protect the few that do not practice,
"Stop...Look...Listen" teachings... Appreciate your comment though as stop signs at "every" intersection would be not the answer either.
