Are there plans to resurface or do preventative maintenance work on Caynon Hills Rd in the near future. Being a regular commuter on CHR, I see numerous cracks and small potholes forming. Some cracks are as large as 2 inches wide and they mostly occur along the street markings, especially the lane dividers. These cracks are most prevalent around the intersection of Canyon Hills Road and Camelina Street, and they extend about 1/2 mile in both directions. It looks like some work has already been done to remediate similar cracks on Camelina Street, but I don't know if that was done by the HOA. If preventative maintenance is not done to seal these cracks before the winter storms, they will grow in size and numbers. And as a taxpayer, I would prefer preventative maintenance sooner rather than later. Otherwise, we may have a costly resurfacing project in the next couple of years because of inadequate maintenance, or the lack thereof.
