Description
During rush hour times, especially in the PM hours of 4:30-6:30PM, the lights do not allow enough time for east to west traffice to get through. On an average, these lights are staying green long enough for 3-4 cars to get through the intersection, causing a back up headed west of almost 1/2 a mile. In addition the lights are not staggered, so people cannot clear the intersection after the first light turns red, because the second light turns red at the same time! Then when people are turning left off of Mountain View Corridor to head west, they have no where to turn and they back up onto the Corridor. When the light to head west turns green, people turning left are blocking the intersection and no one can move west until the light turns red again! It is a mess! PLEASE adjust the lights to allow for longer movement east and west during rush hour times. And consider staggering the second light to turn red after the first so people can get through the intersections, instead of getting trapped.
