There is a lot of speeding through the neighborhood on 44th Ave S and S 118th/44th Pl S. Kids live here, elders live here, there are few sidewalks, it's dark at night and there are corners with limited site. I think many people use this route as a shortcut to get to and from S 124th and the bridge to Martin Luther King Junior Way. The residents of this neighborhood clearly want people to drive slower and cautiously, as there have been many privately acquired "drive slow, children present" signs posted on this stretch of road for many years. Can we have some focus on this area to address this high safety risk?
