Description
I am a wheelchair user. I have recently moved to the city of Malden, and now use the T daily to commute to my job at Roxbury Community College. On December 2 and 4, during my commute back and forth, I used the curb cut between J Malden Center at 190 Pleasant Street and the T station at 290 Pleasant street, along with the walking paths to and from, especially those in Circle Park. While much of the surrounding streets and sidewalks were clear, the curb cut and nearby paths were not cleared at all. They were covered except for footprints, sometimes were obstructed by piles of snow, and very nearly caused me to get dangerously stuck when attempting to cross the street. Please ensure that the curb cuts on Pleasant street leading to the T station are clear, and that the at least one of the paths in Circle Park is clear, so that wheelchair-using pedestrians can approach the ramp to the station safely.
