• First opportunity in .3 mile (http://bit.ly/17aTnL1) to cross Lawrence if walking east from Sheridan
• Main access point to lakefront, Margate Park, dog park
• High number of young children in immediate area
• 15,700 vehicles per day enter/leave Lake Shore Drive directly east
• Complicated intersection with multiple lights & curb cuts
• Multiple bus routes using reticulated buses (#81 #148)
• High ambulance traffic due to hospitals & nursing facilities
• Periodic high traffic due to Uptown event venues

Any publicly available update on the status of items ward residents voted to address in 46th ward participatory budgeting last year?
This intersection was Item F in the Walkable 46 posters.

3 Express bus routes (136, 146, 148) are currently running thru intersection in addition to usual #81 Lawrence: http://www.transitchicago.com/travel_information/alert_detail.aspx?AlertId=25307

No parking sign on south side of Lawrence between Clarendon & Marine recently got knocked over.
Still need help at this intersection—we voted for menu funding for improvement in 2013. Please share an update.
