Thanks for reporting! Unfortunately, there has been a dramatic increase in abandoned shopping carts over the last couple of years. At this time, Maintenance does not have the authority nor the man-power to address this. These carts are still owned by the grocery store, and they are responsible for trying to make sure they do not leave the lot. Beyond calling the stores and letting them know about their carts, I would recommend calling the City Manager's office and alerting them know about this issue.
