resident Carmen Hidalgo at 401 Chestnut Ave. She told me about concrete that is being lifted behind the homes to the right of her house and that there is a tripping hazard. I told her I would report it and put it in the queue her email address is carmegos@gmail.com and she would like to be kept in the loop through SCF. I have attached a picture for the exact area where the trees are damaging concrete.

we are investigating area trees might belong to the HOA of the housing property .Until then we as the city will temporarily patch trip hazarads until we are notified of further action.below we have attached City Guidlines for sidewalks ......

THE ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS,EXCEPT IF THE DAMAGE IS DETERMINED TO BE CAUSED BY ROOTSFROM TREES IN THE CITY RIGHT OF WAY,OR FROM CITY-OWNED FACILITIES(SUCH AS STORM
DRAINS AND SEWERS).IN THESE CASES ANY REQUIRED SIDEWALK OR CURB AND GUTTER REPAIR SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CITY.
6) THE CITY MAY TEMPORARILY PATCH DEFECTS WHICH ARE THE PROPERTY OWNERS RESPONSIBILITY
UNTIL THE PERMANENT REPAIRS ARE MADE .
