I’ve never had any trouble with this signal. It was working just last night.

This doesn't work most of the time. I usually have to cross with no walk or go to a different crossing.

Mr. Utterback, while your experience has been different I still encourage the City to investigate this. My family & I have encountered this problem twice now, most recently on Feb. 7th around 5:30pm. The push button for westbound pedestrian crossing did not work. The push button for eastbound crossing seemed to work fine. City, we excitedly await your response to this Fix It request #375886.

I’m not disputing anybody’s experience, and it could well be that the signal is malfunctioning. That said, I do know that the walk signal at this intersection takes a looong time to cycle through. After waiting for traffic on Stadium, one must then wait for Arbordale traffic to turn on to Stadium before getting the signal to walk. Depending on when in the cycle one activates the signal, this process could take several minutes, during which time one might run out of patience and move on. It would be nice if the city would re-program the signal so that when the button is pressed, the traffic light would adjust and allow for pedestrians to cross.

The issue appears to be long-standing (no pun intended): my above suggestion is the same as that of Seth (#3663450) on 8/27/17. Will the city please act?

I also just had the same problem. I waited for 5 full cycles before just running across.
