I have been asking for new st residents to be allowed parking stickers for Orange tr. the sheriff’s department said they would work on it a year ago

Planning and zoning approved the apartments being changed from single family but did not take into account the amount of people who would have cars......could be up to 4 per two bedroom house and some properties have more. Orange Terrace would be good but what about the back streets.

Who is nfloyd and when will he be reaching out to the homeowners on here?

The two hour parking on Orange Terrace cannot be removed. It is there so Navicent Health employees will not use on-street parking all day and night. Some homes on other streets has been changed from single family dwelling to apartment style living. It is the responsibility of the land lord to provide adequate parking for their tenants.

First off this issue is not closed by a long shot. This happens everytime and I'm not playing the pass it off to the other person game anymore. You say that it's the Landlords responsibility to provide parking? What do you think is happening right now? This Landlord is trying to get parking for himself. Who did this get passed off to Mr. Floyd? You gave no information we didn't already knnow. How come there was not even an open discussion about the parking problem but just you saying cant be done. No answer, moving on? btw your parking spaces are too big. You should get those stickers remade. Talk to captain wolf. Who is this supervisor it got passed off too? I would like to hear their opinion .

I am a landlord, Dustin Vanderheyden. I own 955 new street and 965 new street. My properties both have lots that are just a little bigger than their building footprints. It would be nice if my tenants had overflow parking on both sides of new street. Also orange terrace is a much wider street than maple street so when overnight parking you dont have to worry about losing a mirror. I would be okay with city issued parking passes that give residents the ability to park in some areas that the hospital can not park in.

When did Navicent become the all almighty. They have patrol cars that should monitor their employees. It’s the responsibility of planning and zoning and city engineering to come up with a solution. Captain Wolfe was looking into reinstating the stickers. Never happened. We even offered to pay for new stickers. As a Home owner and TAX PAYER we deserve a parking spot without having to walk around the block. I am able to meet with city officials and the sheriffs office for a solution.
