Deskripsyon

Previously reported homeless camp had been growing under the Amoskeag bridge next to the railroad tracks. Now up to four tents. Garbage, refuse and, probably, excrement everywhere.

It's starting to look like a shanty village down there and it needs to be addressed immediately.

The police have already been down there. The city actually put up fences, brought porta potties, and trash barrels for them to utilize which tells me they’re OK with them being there and in fact supporting it. Although it’s strange to me that they’re allowing it to indeed look like a village - I’m assuming that’s their way of helping them thru COVID, but who knows. It is an eye sore but I don’t think they’re bothering anyone at the moment. Makes me thankful to have a roof over my head that’s for sure.

You forgot to add that we are paying for a police detail to be there and food is being delivered. I wonder if the cemetery camps and Resivoir ave camps are going to get the same “assistance”.

Well if this is a free safe monitored campsite with facilities, do I need to make a reservation or just show up?Finally a campground with river view open right now and don’t need to travel to get there!!
