Description
there is a diseased palm tree that will.lose its canopy soon. we had another palm that was removed by the city approx about 15 feet from this one, with the same disease. This is located by the stop sign on 16th ave n in st pete and within the azalea Elementary school zone. were concerned it could be a dangerous hazard to the children that walk home. there is no abutting neighbor to this tree as it is on the roadway and by the stop sign.

Update from Community Services: The reported tree(s) has been evaluated and is not completely dead or in imminent danger of falling, therefore no City action is warranted at this time. The maintenance of trees that are located in the right-of-way is the responsibility of the abutting property owner. To obtain a permit for tree removal, the property owner may contact Zoning at 727-893-7471.
