Due to the emergency nature of COVID-19, the Anne Arundel County Department of Health will only be responding to complaints of a public health emergency at this time. After the state of emergency is lifted by the Governor of Maryland, you may resubmit your concerns and a complaint will be opened for investigation.
In response to the rapid onset of COVID-19 pandemic, and pursuant to Emergency Executive Order # 17 which suspends any legal or procedural deadlines described in the Anne Arundel County Code, the Department of Public Works has suspended enforcement of the the Weeded Lot Law.
If a complaint regarding a potential weeded lot violation is filed with the Department, it will be investigated once the Civil Emergency in Anne Arundel County is lifted by the County Executive.
To report a weeded lot, please call (410) 222-7582.
