Description

Every night for the past week, people have been setting off fireworks in Butterworth Park and the surrounding neighborhood. It’s at all hours of the night and a huge disturbance. It happens multiple times a night. Some fireworks set off in the park, some may be from the end of Arthur st near the MWRA lot, some seem to be from the top of Clark’s Hill. And then other places around the neighborhood as well. Police need to monitor area to prevent people from lighting off illegal fireworks.

A. People are setting off fireworks in the neighborhood around Butterworth park every night. It is very disturbing. Increased police presence in the area might discourage people from lighting fireworks.
