HPD records show complaints of lack of heat and hot water for the entire winter.

NO HEAT AND HOT WATER

I VISITED SEVERAL TIMES THIS HOUSE AS A GUEST OF TENANT .I NOTICED FEW THINGS WHICH REALLY BOTHERED ME AS A GOOD CITIZEN .FOR INSTANCE , WHENEVER I VISITED NEITHER HAD HEAT NOR HOT WATER INTO THE HOUSE.

SHE HAS RECENTLY CHANGED HER PHONE NUMBER SINCE EVERYONE WAS COMPLAINING. HER NEW PHONE NUMBER IS 917-600-7385. IN SHORT, SHE STILL DOESN'T PROVIDE NO HEAT AND HOT WATER AT ALL IN THE WHOLE BUILDING. ANYONE CAN TAKE A PICTURE AND CONVINCE THE OTHER PARTY THAT THERE IS A HEAT BUT WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE LIST OF COMPLAIN AND VIOLATION OF THIS BUILDING SINCE SHE BOUGHT THIS HOUSE, THE RECORD WILL SPEAK FOR ITSELF.

I JUST WANT TO REQUEST, PLEASE EVERYONE IN THIS BUILDING ARE SUFFERING EVERYDAY AND UNFORTUNATELY THERE WAS NO ACTION WAS TAKEN. HPD IS NOT SIMPLY DOING THEIR JOB TO FORCE THIS OWNER (GLORIA MONTALVO) PROVIDE HEAT IN THE BUILDING.

For the first time in ages, we were able to get a little bit of heat. For the first time, since last summer our floor is actually warm!!!! We are traumatized by that because we usually can't touch the floor because it is too cold. I would like to thank all of you, who supported our problem. Please keep it up, because the heat was given today; don't know about tomorrow. Most likely we are not getting heat tomorrow. We all have to start wearing heavy jackets tomorrow like we are going skiing. At night we suffocate because of the amount of blankets we have to use!!!
After the HPD inspection, on January 23rd, we were warned by them to wear heavy clothing and stated an emergency action will be taken. For the past couple of days, I wondered what did they meant by emergency action!!! Our building neither had hot water or heat!!!! Yupp so much for the emergency action!!!

Yesterday there was heat, today there is none. Also, the hot water always disappears throughout the night and into the morning! EVERY WINTER we have suffered and we are not getting ANY help. I have a lot of bills due to the all-day usage of heaters we bought ourselves. PLEASE HELP US

As of Today (2/5/14) There was NO HEAT AND HOT WATER all day. The owner ignore our calls and doesn't respond to any of your request. I don't know for how long we have to suffer like this. EVERY TENET IN THIS BUILDING MAKE NUMEROUS COMPLAINS TO HPD BUT THERE IS NOTHING CHANGED IN FACT. IT'S 34 DEGREE AND IT WAS SNOWING ALL DAY. PLEASE HELP US. THERE ARE CHILDREN AND OLD PEOPLE LIVE IN THIS BUILDING AND IT HAS BEEN GOING ON EVERYDAY.
