We investigated this complaint and found settling is present but still within tolerance which is very common near bridge approaches. The Town is in the process of accessing all roadways in Town to determine our next resurfacing list. We will continue to monitor the area and if it appears to get worse, we will likely perform a patch, if Coach Lantern is not resurfaced during the next resurfacing package.

Hi - thanks for taking a look. Out of curiosity, what is the tolerance? I know that when I hit this with my car and bicycle, both take a pretty shocking hit, and I have nearly crashed on the bike with anything less than an approach angle of 90 degrees. I can understand if it was only a portion of the roadway, but this extends completely across the road from curb to opposite curb. I kindly request that you keep this high on the list for future repairs sooner rather than later.

Vertical separation below 2” is considered “normal.” Once we complete the street assessment, we will re-evaluate and likely perform maintenance if resurfacing is not proposed.

Is there a month target for completing the assessment?
