Parking on Howe Street has been an ongoing hindrance for residents. Bouilly's Garage (Mechanic Shop) parks cars on the street, in front of apartments, making it difficult for residents to park in front of their homes. The mechanics leave cars parked across the street from the shop. The vehicles are left in the same space for up to weeks and months at a time. Local residents often have to park up the street and walk to their apartments. The parking arrangement is unfair and becomes dangerous to individuals who have to walk home from their car when it is dark outside, being that Bridgeport is a place of high crime. People should have the privilege to park in front of where they pay to live. Reserved parking for the residents across the street from Bouilly's Garage would be convenient. It would be considerate if the mechanics could park the cars that they are repairing in the shop...or at least on the side of the street closest to the shop.
